Our Speakers

Adrian Vannahme
Adrian is the Chief Operating Officer for the North American operations of Reclay Group, an international consultancy and recycling company specializing in circular economy solutions. He has extensive experience analyzing policy and market developments pertaining to recycling regulations and legislation, particularly regarding Extended Producer Responsibility and circular economy frameworks in Europe and North America. He is also a board member of LEKO, a packaging PRO in France and a member of the advisory council of the Canada Plastics Pact, and of SPC’s policy advisory council. He has spent time as Chief of Staff to Ministers and Adviser to the Premier of Manitoba, and as Director of Stakeholder Relations for the Government of Manitoba’s Climate Office. He was also part of Reclay’s Global Solutions team of international circular economy experts between 2013 and 2017 and has worked for Germany’s Foreign Office between 2011 and 2013 and in 2005. Having lived in numerous countries across Europe and North America, Adrian has access to networks, information and communications in a number of languages.
Aileen Lerch
Aileen leads sustainability at Allbirds, which includes work like Project M0.0NSHOT, the world’s first net zero carbon shoe; and Allbirds’s Flight Plan, which aims to cut the company’s carbon emissions in half by 2025, and to near zero by 2030. Prior to joining Allbirds in 2020, Aileen conducted climate research at Rocky Mountain Institute, worked on sustainability in the buildings sector, and was a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute. Aileen earned a Masters in Environmental Engineering from Stanford.
Aleksandra Dobkowski-Joy
Aleksandra Dobkowski-Joy is VP, Chief ESG and Sustainability Officer at Solventum, where she leads corporate sustainability and social impact strategy and integration to support the company’s mission of enabling better, smarter, safer healthcare to improve lives. She joined Solventum from The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., where she served as VP, ESG. As a member of the Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Leadership Team, Aleksandra helped chart the company’s social impact and sustainability strategy, build governance and accountability structures, and set ambitious goals and targets. She also established a best-in-class transparency and disclosure practice, leading the annual external reporting process, aligning to emerging global ESG regulation, and engaging with ESG-focused investors. Prior to joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Aleksandra was President and Chief Operating Officer at Framework ESG. At Framework, she led the delivery of core consulting services in sustainability strategy and disclosure to multinational companies across numerous sectors. Aleksandra started her career at the US Environmental Protection Agency, focusing on beyond-compliance innovations programs such as Project XL. She holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University, and a BS in Biology from the University of Connecticut.
